Hey there, I’m Marlin.  Life hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing for me. I came into the shelter after some pretty unfortunate circumstances, but here’s the thing, nobody told my heart to give up. So I didn’t.

I’m still sweet. I’m still loving. And I still think people are pretty great. I get along really well with other dogs and I’m usually ready to say hello and see what’s going on. But underneath that happy personality is a boy who’s still learning that life doesn’t always have to be hard.

I don’t need grand adventures. I need consistency. Kindness. A comfy place to nap. A family who understands that dogs like me sometimes carry pieces of our old stories while we’re writing new ones. Show me patience and I’ll show you loyalty. Show me safety and I’ll show you joy.

I’m ready for the easy life now - the one with belly rubs, soft beds and people who choose me forever.
