Hi there, I’m Oscar.

I don’t like to think too much about where I came from—it wasn’t a good place. Some kind people found me in a dumpster and had me brought here, and now I’m looking for something I’ve never had: a loving family to call my own.

I’ll admit, I can be a little shy when I first meet new people. After everything I’ve been through, it just takes me a minute to know I can trust you. But once I do? Oh, I love people. I really do. I love head scratches, belly rubs, and just knowing someone is there for me.

I get along with other dogs, too! I think having a canine friend could even help me feel more confident. I’m still learning my manners, though. I’m strong and full of energy, so I’ll need someone who’s patient and willing to help me with training.

If you’re looking for a dog who’s ready for a fresh start, someone to love and grow with, then I hope you’ll consider me. I’ve been through a lot, but I know my best days are still ahead—and maybe they’ll be with you.
