Hi, my name is Prairie, and I’ve often been told I have an old soul. I’m not the kind of dog who rushes into things - I like to take my time and make sure the people around me are kind and gentle. Once I realize you’re a friend, though, my heart is all yours. All I really want is love and I’ll give it back tenfold.

I get along well with other dogs and would be happy to share my space with a furry friend. I may need a little patience when meeting new people, but once I feel safe you’ll see my true sweetness shine through. I’m looking for a home where I can finally relax, be cherished and give all the love I’ve been holding onto. Could that home be with you?

If you believe Prairie would be a great fit  for you, please submit an application form via email at adoptions@tdhs.ca.

Applications can be found here. For more information, contact us at 705-264-1816 during business hours.
