Palmer's Second Chance

Sweet little Palmer was transferred into the care of the Timmins & District Humane Society from another community, after not only being struck by a vehicle, but with a painful eye condition that required emergency surgery.

Having been a stray at the time of her accident, unfortunately Palmer was never claimed by her previous family. Because the resources were not available to provide her with the medical care she needed, TDHS was contacted and happily agreed to take her into our care.

To give Palmer a chance at a pain-free life, our medical team made the necessary decision to remove her damaged eye. She is now on the road to recovery — adjusting beautifully and still full of love, trust, and tail wags.

Palmer's Treatment Plan: eye enucleation and after care, diagnostics, medication, spay surgery and ongoing daily care. If the funds raised go above and beyond what Palmer requires, your generous support will continue to make a difference for the next animal in need.
