Championing Animal Welfare: A Compassionate Journey from Rescue to Forever Homes

We are passionately committed to the well-being of animals in every dimension. Serving as both an adoption center and a secure refuge for lost and abandoned animals, our mission revolves around guaranteeing their comprehensive care and optimal health. At the heart of our efforts is a skilled and dedicated team, including veterinarians, animal care attendants, veterinary technicians, a receptionist-adoption coordinator, an executive director, and volunteers.

Every adoptable animal that enters our shelter is meticulously prepared for adoption, eagerly anticipating the joy of finding their forever homes within the welcoming confines of our facility.

Guardians of Compliance: TDHS Partnership Ensures Pet Welfare and Community Safety in Timmins

In collaboration with the municipality of the City of Timmins, the TDHS oversees the operation of the City’s Pound Services under a contractual agreement. We diligently enforce both cat and dog by-laws to ensure a safe and compliant community. At the TDHS, we take pride in facilitating the sale and registration of cat and dog licenses on behalf of the City of Timmins. This convenient service is available not only at our own facility but also at three additional locations: both Pet Valu outlets and Hard Rock Animal Hospital.
