Lucy's Road to Recovery

Meet Lucy.

Behind Lucy’s damaged eyes is a sweet dog who has been suffering for far too long.

Lucy recently came into our care and while she is an incredibly gentle, loving girl, the condition she arrived in is heartbreaking. The state of her skin, eyes and ears are indicative of a dog who desperately needed veterinary care quite some time.

She has already begun multiple medications to treat her infections and she will remain on them for the foreseeable future. She has also started a specialized hydrolyzed diet to help her body heal from the inside out and hopefully bring her some long overdue relief.

This will not be a quick or inexpensive recovery.

Lucy will likely be with us for quite some time, and her medical treatment is expected to cost thousands of dollars. But despite everything she has been through, Lucy continues to show us nothing but sweetness, trust and love.

We are asking for your help to give Lucy the chance she deserves.

Whether it’s a donation, a share or simply helping spread awareness about dogs suffering silently with untreated medical conditions, every bit of support matters.
