Hi, I’m Daisy. I may not move as fast as some of the others, but I promise - I will get to you. Especially if you’re sitting down. Because if you’re sitting - I’m sticking.

I’ve got a few mobility challenges and I’m currently working very hard on shedding a few extra pounds so I can feel stronger and healthier. It’s a journey - slow and steady - but I’m trying my best every single day. The people caring for me are helping me build strength and I’m learning that small steps still count.

What I lack in speed, I more than make up for in love. I am what they call a “Velcro cat.” If you move, I move. If you sit. If you’re having a hard day, I will gently press myself against you like it’s my full-time job because honestly, it kind of is.

I don’t need high shelves or wild adventures. I need soft places to land, steady encouragement and someone who sees that different doesn’t mean less. I may have a body that needs a little extra support, but my heart? It works perfectly.

If you believe Daisy would be a great fit for you, please submit an application form via email at adoptions@tdhs.ca.
