    Community Holiday Fundraiser Exceeds Expectations, Raises Over $420 for TDHS < Back McKayla Sauve On behalf of the staff, animals and volunteers of TDHS, Gretchen accepts more than $420 from McKayla Sauve, who raised the money over the holidays. McKayla said she started with a $150 goal through a bottle drive, which then went up to $250, but by then people learned of her mission and simply started donating. The Timmins & District Humane Society acknowledges that we are situated in Treaty 9 territory that is steeped in rich Indigenous history and that the lands on which we operate are the traditional territory of many First Nations, Metis, and Inuit People today. We also acknowledge Mattagami First Nation, on whose traditional land we gather.
